Idaho city officials fault BLM in power-line fray

Kuna city officials criticized the Bureau of Land Management's opposition to routing Idaho Power's 1,500-mile Gateway transmission line project between Casper, Wyo., and Melba, through the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area, which is already criss-crossed by transmission lines, but BLM officials said that route would require amendment of the agency's plan, which would delay the project.
