Utah cabin owners question BuRec's future flood scenario
In the latest round of a dispute that goes back decades, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation has ordered owners of cabins and houses around the Scofield Reservoir in Utah to clear out, claiming that the structures are in danger of being washed into the reservoir by a flood, which would threaten the Scofield Dam, and the failure of that dam would put residents of Price and Helper in grave peril.
