Developers of nuclear power plant seek permit in 2nd Idaho county
Alternate Energy Holdings Inc. executives said delays encountered in Elmore County in getting land-use amendments considered forced them to consider other options for a site for a nuclear power plant in Idaho, where they're now reviewing a 5,100-acre site in remote Payette County, although the company said they're not leaving Elmore County.
