Montana rancher puts land off-limits to hunters to protest wolf policy
Fred Hirschy said he pulled the 45,000 acres of his Big Hole Ranch near Wisdom out of Montana's block management program, which allowed hunters access to the land, because the state failed to respond appropriately when his cattle were attacked by wolves.
